💻Domain Connection

Important: You must have ownership of a domain name and access to your DNS settings from your web host. We recommend securing a domain name from Wordpress or Cloudflare.

Step 1 - Click Settings Tab

On the left hand side of your screen, in the menu section, select the tab that says "Settings".

Step 2 - Click Domains Tab

On the left hand side of your screen, in the menu section, select the tab that says "Domains".

Step 3 - Click Add

In the top right hand side of your screen, click the "Add" button.

Step 4 - Input Domain Name

In the "Domain URL" text box, enter your domain. (ex: www.company.com). Then click "Continue".

Step 5 - Add Following Records

To correctly connect your domain to the Magistr platform, you will need to insert the following records into your DNS setting on your web host site. This will be where you bought your domain name from. (ex: Wordpress, Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.)

Step 6 - Locate DNS Settings -> Insert Records

Once you are in your web host DNS settings: copy the code given to you by Magistr and add the records into your DNS settings. This may look different for different web hosts, but the process is still the same.

Magistr Tip: This next record is not required but we HIGHLY recommend it, as it will help you create numerous subdomains for your website. This will allow you to attach an infinite amount of pages, funnels, forms, and more to your main domain address.

(ex: form.magistr.biz -> directs the user to a funnel that we created to capture leads)

The Name (Host) is an asterisk (*).

Step 7 - Verify Records

Return back to the Magistr platform. Click the "Verify Records" button and wait for the records to connect successfully. This takes just a minute.
