📞Phone Number Setup

Step 1 - Click Settings Tab

On the left hand side of your screen, in the menu section, select the tab that says "Settings".

Step 2 - Click Phone Numbers Tab

On the left hand side of your screen, in the menu section, select the tab that says "Phone Numbers".

Step 3 - Click Add Number -> Add Phone Number

On the right hand side of your screen, in the menu section, select the tab that says "Add Number" and then click "Add Phone Number".

Step 4 - Select Your Desired Number

Select a phone number to send/receive SMS/Calls to and from your customers. If you click the "Filter" button you can search for a number with your preferred area code. You can also select a toll-free number instead.

Magistr tip: It costs $1.15/mo to use the phone number and about $0.0112 per sms segment. That equates to approximately 890 sms segments for $10.

Magistr tip: Toll-free numbers are $2.15/mo with no extra charges.

Important: Toll-free numbers do not require A2P Registration. Local numbers do require A2P registration to ensure that you are following the laws of SMS/Call outreach.

Click "Proceed to Buy" and purchase your phone number.

Step 5 - Click Trust Center -> Start Registration

On the top of your screen, in the above-menu section, select the tab that says "Trust Center" and then click "Start Registration".

Important: Toll-free numbers do not require A2P Registration. Local numbers do require A2P registration to ensure that you are following the laws with SMS/Call outreach.

Step 6 - Complete A2P Registration Application

You will need to complete the A2P 10DLC Registration. This is to verify that you are conducting safe and lawful outreach without spamming or harassing your clients.

Once you have submitted your business information you will submit the A2P Brand and Campaign registration.
